Sathyaraj is one actor who has done N number of get ups and roles. The character of an old man in ‘Onbathu Rubai Nootu’ and the film in which he dances with Namitha are all same for him.

In recent times we are able to track down a different approach that the actor has adapted. Sathyaraj has chosen to share the screen space with younger heroes and gives importance to the weightage of his role. He has got ‘Muriyadi’ by director Selvah with Ganesh Venkataram, ‘Aayiram Vilaku’ with Shanthanu for director Shankars’s one time associate S.P.Hossim, ‘Sinam’ along side Navdeep, ‘Kalavadiya Poludhugal’ with Parthiban and Prabhu Deva, ‘Guru Sishyan’ with Sundar C and ‘Gauravargal’ with Vignesh. All of the above are different and has a great deal of scope for the actor’s talent to be showcased.

While the father is going this way, son has also taken a style. Sibi is all bothered about the character which is offered for him and not the image. Like how his dad was in his early days, the young man has opted for anti-hero subjects. Sources say that Sibi’s negative shade in ‘Nanayam’ is so different.

Well, this is indeed a different kinda approach from the father and son!
